History

I’m an experienced academic researcher, with expertise in histories of war and queerness in the modern British, French, and American empires. I’m currently working on a book about gay transmasculine communities from the 1970s to the present. I can assist with research, supervision, guest teaching, reviews, podcasts, and popular history writing.

Healthcare

I have a background in frontline LGBTQ and antiracist health justice work, with a focus on the UK – and global – trans healthcare crisis. I’m available to collaborate on research, writing, resource creation, and capacity building for LGBTQ health justice. I’m especially interested in supporting frontline trans health work in the UK and abroad.

Journalism

I’ve written about teaching, history, LGBTQ culture, politics, antiracism, and war for a range of international platforms, including the Metro, Education Week, Attitude, USA Today, and OZY. I’ve appeared as an advice columnist for the Dear Prudence podcast and Irresistible Damage, a magazine for queer transmasculine people. I’m available for commission!
